Throughout her career, Mary has mediated numerous cases, spanning business, residential, and personal matters, both within the state of Colorado and for Dallas County's Dispute Resolution Center Court Administration in Texas. Her vast experience has honed her expertise in conflict resolution and solidified her commitment to fostering racial equity.Motivated by the stark reality that non-whites and impoverished Americans are disproportionately policed and criminalized in our society, Mary is deeply drawn to racial equity work. Recognizing the need for change within systemic and oppressive norms, she tirelessly creates spaces for dialogue, one interaction at a time, to challenge and transform these ingrained inequities.
Mary's educational background further complements her professional accomplishments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy from Skidmore College, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of societal dynamics and ethical frameworks. She also earned a Masters in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management from Southern Methodist University, further enhancing her skills as a mediator and facilitator.
As an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Texas Association of Mediators, the Colorado Coalition for Restorative Justice, and the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice, Mary continuously seeks opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration within her field.Mary B.
